No star ratings here, no quotes with a first name and initial. Stories women wrote themselves, six months or more after surgery, with everything good and bad, marked, approved, withdrawable at any time.
To start with, that’s one story: mine. I could have put others here. I didn’t, because there are none I can verify.
How a story gets here
- No earlier than six months after surgery, I ask whether a woman would like to share her story.
- She writes it herself, in her own words. I don’t cut or polish.
- She sees the text before publication, approves it in writing and can withdraw it at any time.
- A first name is enough. No surname, no photo unless she wants one.
- Unhappy accounts get published too. Otherwise everything here would be worthless.
